Northern Virginia – HOT Lanes Construction

To avoid the new construction taking place along I-495, take an alternate route or check into ridesharing or transit options. This is part of the Capital Beltway High Occupancy Toll (HOT) Lanes project that will add two new HOV/Bus/HOT lanes in each direction between the Springfield Interchange and just north of the Dulles Toll Road.
